 Financial Resources Committee

The purpose of Financial Resources committee is to be a resource for bioscience companies in Oregon seeking funding — from seed to growth capital.

Roles and responsibilities of committee

  • Provides bioscience professionals with finance strategies and best practices needed to successfully compete for funding in today’s marketplace.
  • Plans and implements interactive programs that feature case studies, panel presentations and real world examples. This includes selecting the program topic; creating the program description; planning, marketing and promotion of the event; recruiting and selecting speakers, sponsors and panel members; and facilitating the program.
  • Reviews the best methods and venues to impart this information to OBA’s broad membership base.

Narrated Advice Presentations for SBIR and STTR

These narrated tutorials will help you apply for SBIR and STTR. They offer general advice and information on applying, as well as a visual step-by-step overview for small business applicants. This advice comes from the knowledge and experience of NIAID staff, including former NIH grantees, and should be considered as opinion only. Differing opinions may exist.
