The BioPro Steering Committee is composed of eight to twelve bioscience industry managers (primarily human resources, training, and quality managers). The committee will identify training needs and priorities and approve the Oregon Bio training plan which may be funded, in part or in whole, by workforce training grants.

The committee will also help Oregon Bio select trainers, and market the classes to the industry.

In addition the committee will help Oregon Bio to evaluate all aspects of this training including instructors, scheduling, logistics, and support, as well as the actual delivery of training to incumbent workers.

The committee will meet as necessary, usually every six weeks.
