The purpose of the Marketing and Outreach Committee is to capture the essence and value of Oregon Bio’s activities to its members and community and to effectively communicate that value proposition to various audiences.

Roles and responsibilities of committee:

• Defines the Oregon Bio’s promotion, outreach and communication strategies, develops a plan for that strategy, and assists Oregon Bio’s staff in implementing the plan.
• Defines and executes promotional strategies for the bioscience industry in Oregon.
• Utilizes communications vehicles such as the OBA Web site, e-mail marketing, online and traditional newsletters, media relations, editorial boards and business wire services.
• Develops electronic and hard copy collateral materials that promote Oregon Bio, bioscience economic development, and industry support.
