BioPro – Workforce Training and Professional Development

About the Program

Oregon Bio has developed BioPro, a comprehensive workforce training program. BioPro is targeted at the workforce development needs of companies and research institutions in biotechnology, medical devices, diagnostic tools and related technologies.

The goal of BioPro is to enhance the level of the Oregon bioscience workforce making the region a competitive world class bioscience center.

Both Oregon Bio member and non-member companies are eligible to participate in the training.

  • LEAN Value Stream Mapping
  • Preparing for Regulatory Inspections
  • Corrective and  Preventive Actions (CAPA)
  • Applying Statistical Process Control

  • Effective Problem Solving
  • Technical Writing & Documentation within the FDA Regulated Environment
  • Creating and Maintaining Effective Records and Documentation
  • Effective Negotiation Skills
  • Business Writing for Professionals
  • Labeling, Advertising and Promotion

Who should attend

All levels of staff in Development Manufacturing, Quality Control Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC), Regulatory Affairs (RA), Engineers and Software Engineers, Information Technology Staff, Technicians, and Supervisors as well as midlevel Management.
