are currently looking for a Medical
Research & Development Scientist
to join our team in Portland, Oregon.
Position
Summary: Responsible for performing analytical chemistry research towards the development of new products and improvements for existing
diagnostic products.
Skills and
Experience
Minimum
4-7 years of hand-on industry experience with assay and immunoassay
development and analysis.
Experience
in Immunoassay techniques (lateral flow).

submission experience
Manufacturing
experience
FDA
Quality System Regulation experience
Responsibilities
Act
as principle investigator studying the structure, composition and
nature of substances by examining and identifying the various
elements or compounds they contain.
Conduct
research on the structures and chemical properties of compounds to
develop new products, or enhance existing ones.
Develop
Analytical techniques
Contribute
to the body of scientific literature and participate in industry
conferences.
Write
& review Design History Documentation for assigned projects.
May
draft sections or full materials for FDA submissions, patent
applications, or other regulatory documents.
May
act as spokesperson on corporate research and development or
specialized projects.
Work
with minimal supervision.
Education,
Training and Experience Required:
Ph.D.
or M.S. Degree in Biological or Physical Science
