UbiVac, is a biotechnology company

immunotherapy products that safely generate and augment the immune
response to vaccines. This position will support the development and
manufacture of a cancer vaccine for an NCI-funded phase II clinical
trial.

Requirements:
We
are seeking flexible and energetic individuals who wish to advance in
our growing company. Applicant should have the following:
- Ph.D.
in molecular biology, immunology, or biological science.
- A
minimum 3-5 years experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology or
relevant research.
- Experience
with cell culture and cell-based assay development, including Western
immunoblotting, ELISA-based assays, and flow cytometry.
- Flexible
and cooperative spirit with strong commitment to team efforts.
- Some
technical training in clean room environment operations and
executing SOPs.
- Knowledge
of cGMPs and FDA requirements for drug development a plus.
Applicants
that are detail-oriented, analytical, highly motivated and
demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills will be
considered.
Responsibilites:
Applicant will be responsible for routine cellular processing and research-related
cellular manufacturing as well as performing release testing on
cellular products manufacturing in a cGMP clinical laboratory
environment. Activities include product testing for endotoxin,
mycoplasma, cell surface antigen analysis using ELISA, microscopy,
PCR, flow cytometry and standard microbiological techniques. The
incumbent will assist in the manufacturing and organization of MCB
and WCB, develop and execute release testing and quality controls
during vaccine processing. The incumbent will help provide the
technical skill-sets necessary to manufacture high quality biological
materials safely in a compliant, efficient, and cost effective
manner.
