Bio in the Valley
2012: A blueprint for bioscience

Oregon Bioscience Association invites you and all industry insiders to one of our premier events – Bio in the Valley 2012.  New to the bioscience community?  Perfect! This year’s presentation will focus on the future of bioscience in Oregon and what this means for our very diversified industry communities.

Once again Life Technologies has agreed to host this networking event. In addition to a preliminary briefing on the Oregon Bioscience Roadmap—scheduled for final publishing later this year—Oregon Bio will be hosting Gary Nagamori of HDR Architects. A world-wide leader in the development of bioscience facilities and research campuses.

With a background in multi-national pharma, NIH facility grant reviews and expertise in research campus design and development, Mr. Nagamori is sure to provide us with valuable insights in what it takes for communities to help grow their bioscience industry.  Gary was the lead architect responsible for the development of Phoenix, Arizona’s first major bioscience research incubator that eventually became the home of The Translational Genomics Research Institute.
