Microstein LLC of Central Point, Oregon in new distribution deal. Biohit Inc. of Neptune New Jersey will begin marketing and distribution of Microstein’s ergonomic range of laboratory consumables in January 2010. This is tied to the launch of Biohit’s Ergo-Mate personal workstation designed to work with Microstein’s ergonomic product range. Biohit Inc.’s parent company, Biohit oy, Helsinki, Finland are finalizing an agreement with Microstein, LLC for the worldwide rights of distribution of Microstein products to begin in June of 2010.

The company plans to expand its current cleanroom molding facility in the Rogue Valley to serve the increased distribution and sales through the Biohit agreement. We will more than double the size of our current cleanroom operation in Medford to cope with our growth in 2010. The signing of the Biohit oy, agreement will mean a further doubling of capacity to serve the European markets. ‘We are looking forward to a sustained period of growth throughout 2001-11 as we move into our new partnership with Biohit’ says Roy Garvin, President of Microstein.
