Synthetech Inc. CEO Greg Hahn said Wednesday the company is exploring a number of options to increase revenue, ranging from acquiring new businesses to merging with another company or even selling the company.
"We are happy with Albany and our plant here and we plan to expand and grow a nice healthy business here," Hahan said. "But we have to grow."

S-Ray Corp. has closed a $3.5 million funding round it expects will carry the startup through the federal approval process for its dental imaging technology.
CEO Steve Baird formed S-Ray as an Oregon C corporation in January 2008 to pursue ultrasound technology as an alternative to X-rays for detecting cracks and cavities in teeth.
