We now have an opening for a Tachycardia Product Manager located in beautiful Pacific NW near Portland, OR. (Relocation help will be provided).
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of all Marketing functions in accordance with sound business practices. Plans, organizes, directs, controls and provides the leadership to support the Company's short and long term business development objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the development and implementation of annual and long term Marketing goals and support the creation of an annual tachycardia business plan.
Assist in the development and maintenance of new product materials and promotional programs for new product introductions in order to maximize ICD sales goals.
Maintain close communications with the Sales organization providing market analysis, competitive information and critical product information through the development of key materials and communication media.
Coordinate with Sales Education in the preparation of presentations, lectures and publications related to BIOTRONIK's tachycardia products.
Monitor and report market trends and developments in an effort to create additional sales in new regional markets. Facilitates new customer development, among the well-known decision making physicians, through direct personal contact in a supporting role to the Sales force.
Facilitate in the planning and implementation of advertising and promotional activities within the Company's philosophy.
Maintain a high level of cooperation and support by interfacing with other departments and take corrective measures to resolve deficiencies.
Supports the Marketing department projects and programs as directed by the Group Product Manager and the Director of Marketing.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business and/or Science required. Master's degree preferred.
Two to four years prior proven experience in a professional technical marketing for a progressive pacemaker/ICD company. The majority of experience is gained with manufacturers of medical products ideally within the broadly defined market of cardiology related devices.
A demonstrated proficiency in dealing with the conceptual requirements of developing and implementing marketing strategies.
Familiarity with current multi-media production capabilities and requirements combined with strong presentation skills.
Prior leadership experience within a multi-disciplinary working environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of the company.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Travel is required approximately 25% of the time for conventions, business meetings, etc.
