Senior Pricing Contract Coordinator

We are Biotronik, Inc., part of the worldwide BIOTRONIK group, pioneer and innovator in the Cardiac Rhythm Management industry. Our US corporate office is located in Lake Oswego, Oregon. We now have an opening for a Senior Pricing Contract Coordinator located in beautiful Pacific NW near Portland, OR. (Relocation help will be provided).


The successful candidate will actively support field based National Accounts Managers and Regional Sales Directors with analyses and recommendations regarding pricing for contract negotiations. You will make justifiable pricing recommendations based on sales histories, future expectations, and internal/external intelligence, cost, and margins; perform heavy complex sales and pricing modeling. You will also present findings and recommendations to internal management teams and customers, build savings and performance analyses, develop hospital usage reports, and other ad hoc reports. You will work with Field Sales Automation System, BIOSMART and SAP Enterprise systems; develop analytical insight and tools for future improvements and efficiencies within the organization.


The position requires a Bachelor?s Degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting or Finance and proven experience with pricing, and contract analysis. Solid problem solving skills and experience with high demand situations is necessary. Ability to work successfully with short deadlines and to interact and effectively communicate with field sales, sales management, and senior management, demonstrated ability to present analytical results in non-technical terms to management and customer audiences is required. Advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) skills are needed. Must be highly proficient with data sorting, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH functions, working with PIVOT Tables. Developing EXCEL macros is a plus. SAP experience, CRM Medical Device experience, Masters Degree, or MBA is preferred. Understanding of hospital business relationships, such as GPOs, IDNs, and health systems, knowledge of hospital purchasing practices, supply chain management, and basic medical reimbursement policies is a strong plus. Fluency in German desired.
