Our mission is to promote the growth and quality of the bioscience industry in Oregon. We continually seek ways to support our membership community in achieving their full scientific, economic and social potential.
OBA is a non-profit association with membership open to any company, organization or individual with an interest in biotechnology, medical devices, or the life sciences.
FEI is a global leader in providing innovative instruments for 2D/3D imaging and analysis at the cellular and molecular levels. FEI is achieving today’s highest resolution and is revealing structures inside of cells, molecular components of structures, and even ongoing processes in living organisms. From the rapid characterizations of proteins, cells, viruses and DNA, to the development of smarter drugs and delivery systems, to ambitious plans for developing in vivo devices for fighting life-threatening diseases, FEI is enabling discoveries which provide insight into the basic building blocks of life. These applications benefit life science research, clinical diagnostics, drug development, and many other areas.
