Our mission is to promote the growth and quality of the bioscience industry in Oregon. We continually seek ways to support our membership community in achieving their full scientific, economic and social potential.
OBA is a non-profit association with membership open to any company, organization or individual with an interest in biotechnology, medical devices, or the life sciences.
AISthesis, named from the Greek word for viewing, is a company co-founded by Dudley Finch, Ph.D. and Ms Heidi Haehlen. The ?AIS? in AISthesis stands for Advanced Imaging Solutions. The company was formed specifically to address the need for better imaging tools in the fields of biology, materials science and engineering. Utilizing semiconductor and micro and nano electro mechanical systems (M/NEMS) fabrication technology, AISthesis develops for its customers innovative imaging products and communication tools. Products both developed and under development include cross-instrument (e.g. SEM, AFM, TEM, fluorescence, confocal and optical microscopes) platforms for off-line 3D imaging and metrology of nanomaterials and biological structures.
