HemCon Medical Technologies, Inc. was founded on one simple premise. Save lives. The HemCon Bandage is standard issue for America's soldiers serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Military reports show the bandage credited with saving over 100 lives to date. HemCon has also launched a line of new bandages specifically designed for the civilian emergency medical professional. HemCon's role has expanded from being a provider of military hemorrhage control products to being a full medical technology company. HemCon is applying its platform technology of advanced chitosan materials to medical solutions where there is potential to significantly advance the standard of care. These areas include: oral surgery, dentistry, emergency medicine and trauma, wound care, surgical applications and consumer products. HemCon serves the internation market with a global distribution network. This has allowed us to provide hemorrhage control solutions to allied military and international medical markets.
