The two signed a memorandum of understanding, establishing a collaboration in which biostatisticians from CRAB and Knight Cancer Institute support cancer researchers through study design, data management and other work.
The two institutions aren’t strangers. Since 2011, they have collaborated on a variety of projects, including the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Specialized Center of Research and Beat AML trials.
“This partnership builds on the existing trust between both organizations,” Motomi Mori, a Knight Cancer researcher and professor of biostatistics, said in a written statement.
“Our missions are squarely aligned in the effort to make an impact on cancer, and this collaboration will increase the translational research capability of each organization.”
