Employer Responsibilities
- Complete the MOU and register as a training agent with the state.
- Pay apprentices' wages and offer benefits.
- Supervise apprentices and designate a mentor or buddy.
- Allow apprentices two hours per week for RTI (recommended).
- Complete quarterly progress reviews.
Oregon Bio's Role
As program administrator, Oregon Bio handles registration, funding for readiness training, RTI management, apprentice tracking, and support services for both apprentices and employers.
