Twist Bioscience is developing a disruptive Synthetic DNA technology that will change the world, enabling widespread health and sustainability. Synthetic biologists will use our products to engineer how organisms produce cures to diseases, make everyday chemicals by using the atmosphere as the carbon source, enable plants to make their own fertilizers, and to create in-vivo diagnostics that alert us when we are sick, and many more applications.


In this role, you will have a dual responsibility as an Executive Assistant, supporting the SVP of Operations and Office Administrator, supporting the Wilsonville site.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Executive Assistant to SVP, Operations

Manage calendars, travel and expense reports
Other activities as needed


Office Administration

Manage the internal operations in the office – ensure an effective and team-oriented environment along with ensuring Twisters have what they need (i.e. supplies, etc.).
Plan and administer the office seating assignments for the site
Monitor the use of conference and huddle rooms and ensure effective use of the space.
Plan and coordinate various site visits, board meetings, internal team activities and other events which utilize Twist’s building and office spaces
Manage assigned service providers – day to day operations, invoices, payments and holding vendors accountable to service level agreements
Implement office policies and standards along with tracking adherence to policy
Partner with HR to schedule on-site interviews and other recruiting activities
Assist with travel logistics, flights/hotels, conferences and processing associated expense reports
Contribute to an engaging, high-performance environment by partnering with HR and the site GM to nurture a culture of professional development. The office manager will support this effort by scheduling team building and career development activities for all departments and teams
What You’ll Bring to the team:

5+ years of relevant experience
· Proficient in high-level executive travel arrangements
·  Demonstrated administrative, organization, and planning skills
·  Capable to work independently or collaboratively
·  Strong computer skills with Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, Slack, & Certify
·  Dependable, able to maintain confidentiality, and strong attention to detail
·  Ability to meet multiple and overlapping deadlines
Working knowledge of general accounting or bookkeeping concepts.
