Senior Buyer Responsibilities:
Develop supplier relationships and contracts that improve quality, security of supply, competitive pricing, and service. Partner with the Operations, R&D, and Engineering Departments to develop and implement supply strategies for a wide variety of products and services. Collaborate with engineers and scientists to enable rapid technology development while establishing suppliers that scale reliably and cost effectively. Develop the procurement system via active participation in our SAP implementation and collaboration across the Twist organization.
Proactively reduce risks of supply disruptions. Lead resolution of supplier quality issues. Support related procurement activities as assigned by the Director of Supply Chain. Follow regulatory and ISO 13485 requirements
