Oregon Bio Covid-19 Event Policies

COVID-19 Requirements

In an effort to ensure safety for our attendees and staff, Oregon Bio will be requiring attendees to show EITHER proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID test within 72 hours of the event. By registering for the in-person portion of the event you are agreeing to these terms.


COVID-19 Notice

I understand that the event for which I purchase a ticket shall be presented in accordance with applicable public health requirements as of the date of such event; such requirements may include, without limitation, changes to capacity, attendance procedures, and other protective measures.



COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. There is an inherent and elevated risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place or place where people are present and there is no guarantee, express or implied, that I will not be exposed to COVID-19 at the event.


Attendee Promise & Health Acknowledgement

I agree to follow event policies (including health and safety policies) and posted instructions while at the event. According to the CDC, older adults and people of all ages with serious underlying medical conditions may be at higher risk of death or severe illness from COVID-19. I understand and agree that I will evaluate my risk in determining whether to attend the event. By entering the venue/event, I voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and confirm that I will adhere to local quarantine requirements and the CDC quarantine guidelines, available at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/if-you-are-sick/quarantine.html


Event Cancellation or Postponement

Oregon Bio reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If Oregon Bio cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund within 30 days and notified via email. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund and/or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date, if available.


Event Refunds

Unless specifically stated on a particular event, in order to receive a full refund, you must cancel your registration at least 3 business days prior to the event date. Should you cancel your registration after the 3 business days, you will not be eligible for a refund. Conferences and larger events will require more notice and will be stated on the specific event materials and website. Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment.


Event Transfers

You may transfer your registration to another colleague, should you no longer be able to attend, as long as they are at the same organization as you. Please note that you cannot apply your registration to a different event should you be unable to attend and/or find a substitute.
